thanks for dropping by. My design is based off of the original "Nosferatu" movie (1922) and is a design that has heavily influenced the Vampire look we see today in media.. (not the twilight stuff) I've never sen Brauner until you mentioned it so I googled him. It's nice to know that the Castlevania series and myself designed a character very much influenced by the 1922 film!
Yeah I doubted the similarity was intentional, but it's kinda surprising how close your design and Konami's came to each other with only Orlok as inspiration.
In fact Count Orlok himself is in Castlevania, in the game Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (which ironically is approximately what the full title of Nosferatu translates to). However for some reason the dubbing team renamed him 'Olrox' in the English version. Konami created another Nosferatu-based vampire for the Nintendo 64 installments named Gilles de Rais who some believe to simply Olrox with an alias.
I love Nosferatu-type vampires because of how much they contrast Dracula-type vampires. And yet despite their bestial appearance they still manage to be polite and refined. And indeed I have many issues against Twilight, as do many vampire fans. I simply ignore it and focus on the real vampires.
Wow! A bunch of awesome new stuff in your gallery all of a sudden! Man, I gotta remember to check back on people's stuff more often. The Vampire Count looks awesome. His weapon looks epic! He must've raided for months to get that thing to drop.
