Young Justice: What I doby ~AZNbebop

I haven't had the chance to post anything for a while because, well, I'm up to my eyeballs with work. From teaching 2 storyboard classes and directing on various projects, I barely have time to sleep.

I wanted to post something from Young Justice (airing on Cartoon Network) to give everyone an idea of the kind of work that is required to bring a show like Young Justice to life.

This is a screen cap and panel from one of the scenes I storyboarded for episode 08 "Downtime". As a Director, I rarely have the time to board but when I found out Clayface would be in the show, I decided to take the sequence myself. (Clayface from BTAS is one of my favorite animated villains!) It's a short scene and I did not have the time to make it a long epic battle since I really only had 3 shots to stage Batman's arrival and Clayface's defeat. (maybe if we do another episode with Clayface and Batman I'll have the screen time to do something awesome....oh well)

probably in the spring. I've been off YJ since january 2010 so I really have no inside info.. sorry. You'd have to ask Cartoon Network for that.
